Bluebird Days are here :-)

Boot deep on day
one!

Treeline camo anyone? |
Every year my family heads to Whistler, BC for Thanksgiving.
We always bring our ski/snowboard gear in the off chance
that they will open the slopes. 2007 proved to be one
of the years that they did. Saturday November 17th,
Whistler was open for business. Blackcomb was not open
until Thanksgiving.
Whistler is one of the
'must go' ski resorts. If you have not been you really
need to clear your schedule and head up there it is a mere
5.5 hr drive from Downtown Olympia. Whistler is
hosting the 2010 Olympics and they are making several
changes to the resort and to the road to accommodate the
masses...expect minor construction delays during your
travels.
My first day on the slopes
was full of surprises. We were able to crawl out of
bed early enough to get some freshies.... As the fog lifted
we were surprised to see a blue sky. It was like
spring skiing in November :-0 0hhhh Yeahhhh.
This is my new
gear for the 2007/08 season. All of which is available
at Alpine Experience. If you need some style advice
let me know...
LET IT SNOW!!!!
